Difference between Anticipated and Expected

These two refer to a person’s attitude toward a future event. It differs in the way they convey. In general, it uses while determining the future cost, benefits, spectators, events etc.

Anticipated: anticipate implies that a person is certain that the event will take place.

Expected: expect implies only that a person predicts that the event will take place
