Executing multi-line python statements in the one-line command line

Way 1:
echo -e "import sys\nfor x in range(5): print x" | python
Way 2:
python -c "exec(\"import sys\\nfor x in range(5): print x\")"
way 3:
(echo "import sys" ; echo "for x in range(5): print x") | python
